Un viaggio nel tempo!!! Staff gentile e premuroso... Lo raccomando.

I didn't know what to expect before our short stay at the Omni resort. The actual building was magnificent. It was spotless and pristine. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were numerous activities in the building as well as outdoor activities suitable for all. The crowning jewel of the stay was the staff. They seemed genuinely interested in making your stay memorable. And they did!

Overall, I think Bedford Springs is a lovely resort. The staff is friendly, attentive and professional and the spa is wonderful (if a bit expensive). I have been going to this resort about 2 times a year for the past 8 years, usually with my girlfriends. This 2-night stay was with my husband to celebrate my birthday and I was treated to a complementary cupcake, chocolates and a split of sparkling wine! ||||I would recommend paying a little extra for a room with a porch (for coffee in the morning, reading in the afternoon and wine at happy hour), plus taking advantage of the walking/hiking trails. Also, the town of Bedford has some nice/reasonable restaurants and decent shopping.

My daughter had her wedding at the Omni (in Bedford Pennsylvania) and it was fabulous. Beautiful location in front of a waterfall. The food was exceptional! The room where we stayed was great as well. Would recommend.||||My only disappointment was my hair appointment at the spa on her wedding day. Lasted about 15-20 minutes and my hair (only curled) started to become limp about 30 minutes after leaving the salon. The cost was very high for this hairstyle. Luckily, I brought my curling iron. The other members of the wedding party with updos looked great however.

The experience was not a worth the cost. The restaurants were either understaffed or simply had bad service. The food was marginal at best and way overpriced. 3 shrimp $18, side dish of asparagus $12 etc. This is the first time in years that I returned a meal. The replacement dish was barely better. Taxes and miscellaneous charges drive tho costs well beyond outrageous pricing. Their reputation is far better than the reality.

Our stay was great! The staff interacted pleasantly with my 83 year old father and that made us all happy. We had a great family weekend and memories we will all treasure. Can't wait to do it again. Super impressed with Bedford Springs! The Autumn leaves were fantastic!

This was our first time visiting. It is a very large place where conferences take place. We got there at 4 pm and our room wasn't ready and then when it was it had spots on the floor and bedspread. I know this sounds awful, and it was, I was very discouraged. But the management quickly got us into another room. I love the historical beauty of the resort. The staff were kind and accommodating. A special shout out to Chase who made our day with bringing coffee to us. Some other staff that made an impact were Elizabeth in the Frontier Tavern who shared lots of great tips for touring the downtown. And the concierge also gave us a lot of great suggestions. | There are a few things that I would change , one would be have coffee in the lobby at least until 10 AM. I know they have a kerig in the room but I just don't like them. The Evitt coffee shop is very nice, however.| I would add double sheets to the beds, I don't really like the comforter being the sheet and blanket. | I would have glasses and coffee cups in the rooms, not paper. | I would add a turn down service to all rooms.|We had dinner and breakfast in the Crystal Room, which my husband loved. I like the breakfast, we ordered off the menu. The next night we ate in the Frontier Tavern which I highly recommend.| I would give 5 stars to all the staff we encountered, from the valet, to the gift shop salespeople, to the wait staff. I thought they made this a wonderful experience,

This hotel is lovely at first sight and once was a beautifully appointed historic hotel. The settings is gorgeous and the hotel at one time was luxurious.||It is extremely expensive to stay and eat. It is overpriced for the rooms and the food is not good in any of the restaurants on site.||The indoor pool was being repaired ( and Travelzoo who we booked through did not alert us to this event) and this was a great disappointment to me. As it is one of my pleasures when I (now rarely, b/c of the cost to stay) visit this hotel.||All in all, if you are extremely wealthy and money is not any concern to you, I would try it, But fairly warned.
