Me, my son and his friend had a great time. The ticket agent was kind & friendly. The rental service was kind & fast. The new lifts are nice. Padded seats that were not cold. ? The conditions were perfect , fluffy powder everywhere. I can not wait to get back to Big Boulder!

Nice mountain with some sweet runs and the most friendly ski resort employees I've come across. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area!
We just had 2 weeks of warm weather and in only 2 or 3 days of cold they had the slopes in good condition so props to the snow crew. They have a nice variety of runs with fun features and many of the slopes are nice & wide which gives a lot of space to have fun. Also the wait in the lift lines (on a Friday) were very short.

For it not having snowed much in PA, the fake snow was great. I usually don’t like skiing in fake snow but fake snow is better than no snow. This is a great place for beginners as the beginner slopes are very easy to go down. But, the one lift that serves the 3 beginner slopes gets extremely crowded (and they give preference to the ski school students so that backs up the line a lot as well). The intermediate and advanced slopes are much less crowded and certain lifts have barely any wait. These slopes are super fun, very wide, and a good length. Also many of the slopes were open.

The rental area is very large and organized (the lines run quickly). The lodge is long and has plenty of tables as well as seats. They even give out s’mores at 1pm on the weekend! For around a 2 hour drive from NY, this place cannot be beat!

Also you can go to big boulder at any time to continue skiing. The intermediate and advanced slopes at big boulder seem much easier than the same level ones in Jack Frost. Also many of the advanced slopes were closed at big boulder but they were open at Jack Frost. Lastly while snow tubing was closed at Jack Frost, it was open at big boulder.

We arrived around 10am on weekend. There were 10-minutes dropping off parking available. Check-in was quick and easy. Different from most ski mountains, here we skied down first, then took the lift back up afterwards. The lodge was very crowded and quite noisy. There was background music playing, which made noise situations worse. Although we saw cleaning staff working inside, women’s and men’s rooms got wet floors again very quickly. It closed at 4pm, so no ski under the lights.

Love Jack Frost. I ski every weekend the mountain is open. My only criticism is that Vail did not approve snow making in the last week of the season. Blowing some snow on the trails that remain open would have made a much more enjoyable and safer expereince for the skier. Given the price of lift tickets and Epic Pass, I would think blowing some snow would not have impacted profitability that much.

Visited mid January and had a blast. This isn't Colorado so be sure to check your expectations. JF has all the ingredients to have an amazing day. Good facilities, a super friendly staff, and a great mountain with great people. You might get caught in a line, paused on a lift, or lose balance on ice but that's Poconos skiing for ya. Bring a smile and shred it.

Great slopes for beginners and casual skiers/boarders. Lifts were a little crowded, one was closed on longer slopes, which bogged traffic down a little.. Excellent staff.

We went to Jack Frost for the first time and had an okay experience. As beginners the slopes were good but the blue / easy slopes were more challenging / steeper.

The problem we had was the ski lift had technical issues so we lost an hour of ski time due to this. We also had to either go down a steep slope (hard for beginners / intimidating) or climb up the mountain. We ended up climbing the mountain but we’re again disappointed in losing slope time as they had closed the beginner slopes for the rest of the duration.
