The room we had was incredible and the bed was amazing. This, however, is where my positive review ends.

I called to see if we could check in early & was told yes. We get to the hotel to discover it
Coat $50 to check in early. That was never told to me on the phone.

We saw a sign for the breakfast buffet for 50+ year players club members to get a free breakfast buffet with the purchase of another. We go to pay & they declined to honor it because it is only Monday-Thursday. THE SIGN SOES NOT SAY THAT ANYWHERE! Obviously, I don’t mind paying for breakfast, what I don’t like is being continually lied to.

Our key didn’t work in the elevator, so we couldn’t get up to our room, so their solution was to wait for the other elevator to come down. Our key didn’t work to let us in the pool area. We kept trying to get in with 3 pool attendants watching us and not 1 got up to let us in until I knocked on the door. I asked her why she wouldn’t let us in if she was standing there watch us struggle and she LITERALLY rolled her eyes at me & said “because you have a key”. I replied to her “it wasn’t working & saw you me try”. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away while making faces at her coworkers who started laughing.

This place was disappointing considering I wanted it to be a nice, relaxing overnight get away from
Home. I do not recommend this place at all.

Ants in our bed. We traveled into state & booked as a large party for a family reunion. Many of us had to change rooms. Though inconvenient, it was made even more inconvenient because every time we had to bring all of our things back down to the front desk, get another room, take all our belongings to the next room, just to find ants in the new room also. Our second room had food on the floor that was covered in ants. Hair in the chairs in the room.. We had several elders and senior citizens with us, so all of the constant relocating was horrible. On our 3rd room, we were finally moved to another tower. No ants, but the shower hadn't been cleaned. And despite requesting, no one came to clean it. We ended up just putting towels on the shower floor to bathe because we were so tired. Several members of our party missed out on the first night's reunion activities because we were changing rooms.

The visit was for purpose of a workshop. The room was clean, the front desk ladies were very kind; and the indoor pool area was beautiful and clean. The workshop was also amazing. This is where things stopped. The restaurants are barely open. Even the lame buffet was closed most of the time. The only restaurant that was open was not great and the lady seemed annoyed that me and my stepmother were they only ones in the restaurant. The coolest aspects of the place are the ice bar which only opens after 4 pm and the pool bar which isn't open at all except on weekends. The facility is losing a lot of money by not having these things available during major workshops and events: restaurants and entertainment. The steak house which has 4 star prices had wonderful service but fair food. It was much better than the other restaurants though. My room never had house keeping the entire time (3 nights). We had to call for towels every day. I would not recommend this place for a pleasure or mini vacation.

I’ve been wanting to stay at Paragon Casino Resort for two years but never did because the reviews were mostly terrible. Well I finally decided to make reservations for a 2 night stay and I’m so happy that I did.

Please note that this facility has 3 separate towers for rooms. The North Tower. The South Tower. The Atrium Rooms. My room was in the South Tower. I have nothing negative to say. I enjoyed my stay and found the resort great. My stay was on a Monday & Tuesday and not everything was open, but I feel this resort has so much to offer that it is a great destination.

There is an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. Both were very nice.

The gym was very well furnished with water and towels readily available.

The shopping is adequate, though mostly open later in the week and weekend.

The buffet was only open for lunch on the days I was there but there were other options.

There is ample parking both in a covered garage and outdoor.

My king room in the South Tower appeared to have been renovated in the last year or two. It had a walk in shower and was adequate in size. The a/c worked great and I have absolutely no complaints on the room.

They advertise room service but I placed an order from The Draft Room restaurant and just took it to my room.

They have a kids game room (not open on Mondays & Tuesdays) but it looked great.

The casino itself is large with ample variety of slots and games.

There is an onsite movie theater which is a big draw for me. Unfortunately it was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

All in all I regret not visiting sooner. I think this is a great find and I will return.

I travel here multiple times a year. The Ice bar used to be where the party was at but I'm living the new Draft room and the little dance club these days... multiple options, outside of gambling, to keep the whole family entertained. Great staff and a great atmosphere... don't forget to stock around and watch the gators being fed!!

Very disappointed… how my mother was treated by a worker name Bobby. My mother called me crying because Bobby who hosted bingo on 11-13-24 @6:00 pm accused her of cheating. Without any evidence or proof he publicly humiliated my mother who is a black card holder and is a very loyal ultimate player. She was not cheating she played with the cards that she was giving. I personally feel that he could have handle the situations in a better manner.

We were compt a room because of my husband’s status at the casino. We decided to get a cabin because our 12 year old son was with us. At checkin we weren’t told about wristbands being needed to use the casino pool, so at 9:00pm when we decided to go for a swim, we were told that we needed to go back to the cabin registration to get wristbands. So we left the casino, drove all the way to the office to go get wristbands came all the way back change our clothes to jump in the pool to find out that the pool closes at 10 o’clock for children Time is wasted wristband given to us at check-in and we were never told that children are not allowed At 10 o’clock girl came over and told us we needed to leave with our son, we were the only people in the pool.

We will not mention the condition of the cabin that we received As a hotel manager, I was disgusted by what was being sold or in this case, given to a guest to stay with the family Countertops were stained there was a musty smell in the room. The walls were filthy. There was a plywood plank screwed into the back door of the cabin to prevent anyone from going outside rotted back patio. All lights in the cabin there were multiple dead bugs not two, not three, like 10 in each light You need to do better. You’re a casino that means you make money. There’s no reason for you to ever put someone into a room that is in that condition. Shame on you

Stayed in the North Tower. Pretty standard room. Mini fridge, safe, ironing board, blow dryer, makeup mirror, no microwave. Room had some blemishes but nothing too obvious. Room was pretty clean. Brought my own bathroom cleaners for my personal preference. Let the jets run in the tub and it did have some yuckiness come out so I was not comfortable taking a bath. The shower was fine but the water did not get very hot. Was nervous about ants bc of other reviews but I saw one single ant. It is still warm and ants are everywhere so that wasn’t a problem to see one. The ac unit in the room sounded pretty raggedy but worked just fine. The lady who checked me in was delightful. I called days before to asks questions and the person in Reservations was not pleasant. Rushed me off the phone. The indoor pool is lovely but it’s not heated. Ate at Roxy’s and Legend’s. Food was fine and service was fine. The gaming floor is a nice size. The ladies I encountered at the security check at the entrance of the casino and the Club Paragon were very nice and chatty. The movie theater is standard but nice to have that convenience in the hotel lobby. The gators in the Atrium are very entertaining to just sit and look at while having coffee from the coffee shop. The resort is only about 5min from Walmart and close to other stores. Adding pictures of the room since the website only has one.
