Really nice Hotel. Good service and everything you need from a Ski Hotel. From Roby on the bus and Manuel on the Bar all do the part to make things work. Easy transfers with Crystal to and from resort...everything ready and pretty slick. The key question is would I go back to this hotel, team and location and this is a 100% Yes. Looking forward to next year.

Oct 2024 Update, so good we have booked for March 2025, nice and early as we do not want to miss out on this particular hotel.

Definitely not a 3* hotel. We stayed here for a week skiing and it was hard to fault. The staff were very helpful. The food was fantastic. Rooms were extremely clean. It was great having a shuttle bus to the lifts and not having to walk each day. The van did break on one of our days, but they found another vehicle to take us. All in all it was a wonderful hotel to stay in and we will definitely be back.

The hotel was very good, staff pleasant, the food was very nice, you only had a choice of 2 for starter and main but we loved the food. The room was very nice. Breakfast was plenty of choice. The fact you get a voucher for a lunch on the slopes and a choice of 2 locations was great, Capa Kind was the best for us, pasta or soup with sweet and water. We did not use the shuttle bus but left our skis at the bottom of the Clotes lift and enjoyed the walk up the hill in the morning.

The hotel overall was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful buffet breakfast and starters excellent however on occasions the pasta dishes were lukewarm and we had veal 3 nights in a row. The rooms were recently renovated and comfortable but we were disappointed the small spa advertised was closed. The shuttle minibus to and from the slopes very efficient.

The Hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms and restaurant are modern, stylish and comfortable. Our room had a fabulous mountain view. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the chef and team clearly take immense pride in what they do. ||The staff were so lovely and looked after us so well. In particular the maitre d who also clearly took great pride in providing excellent service. ||Well done to Hotel Merivale and their team we had a great stay and will be coming back for sure.

Crystal ski reps put us on the wrong bus due to us sharing surname with another family then made it out like it was our fault, luckily it was the same resort but meant we had to walk for 20mins uphill with suitcases. Breakfast- If your not down by 8 o clock for breakfast then no Bacon left, asked 4 times for more. Latte not working, again asked 3 mornings in a row. |Lunch- vouchers allow you tomato pasta or lasagne. However, the lasagne for people with vouchers is different from the main lasagne they serve in the restaurant and contains zero meat, just cheese, tomato lsauce and pasta sheets. You have to pay to have the ‘real’ lasagne. |One day the shuttle bus broke down and had to walk uphill in snow carrying skis as no transportation. |There is no sauna as advertised. |Positives- Lovely rooms inside hotel, spacious, clean and warm with amazing views from balcony.

The hotel is renewed lately and it is ok for that side. But, in the restaurant, which is actually rather good with it’s Italian food the waiters are terrible. Not all of them but at least two of them were very rude and did not reply any time when you said good morning or good evening. No matter what language I used, Italian too! And I spent there one week and had breakfast and dinner every day.||The people in reception were on the other side, they were very professional and helpful, really!||On the slopes, the guys working with the lifts were unprofessional and did not do what they should to do. Most of the time they were staring their phones or just sitten inside in the huts. No service at all. One day, there was a mess in the chairlift with two unexperienced skiers and I fell from the lift, because the liftman did not do his job right, he did not stop the lift!! I didn’t get injured, lucky me!!!
