The Casting Center is where one comes for orientation. It’s been many years since my own orientation but I remember it fondly. Disney does a great job of on boarding new cast members. Retention is another matter but regardless, I enjoyed my time working attractions.

They offered me the lowest pay ever in my life, but I still would have accepted the job. Only because they offer good benefits. They have brand new condos in different cities they help employees buy these condos to live in. Employees can stay at any Disney hotel for 50% off. They allow you and 3 guest to enter Disneyland FREE I believe its 3 or 4 times a year.

From security posted at the parking structure down to the facilitators within the building - everyone carries that warm, welcoming magic that Disney is known for. I was directed to the university building where my onboarding process and traditions were happening. It was such an amazing experience. To be excited for an orientation was something I never thought I’d ever say as a working adult.
Thank you to Mariah and Doug (apologies if spelled incorrectly) of group Mickey for the magical experience! They were absolute gems!

Truth is , the whole process of being hired is amazing , the orientation is probably one of the best things I have ever gotten to experience in my entire life, but as soon as reality hits and they start working you like a slave but somehow you only work 14 hours a week at a horrible wage

The interviewer screwed up and called me almost an hour before the designated time, then I have to reschedule for another interview almost a week later. The person on the phone was rude, kept putting me on hold, when I was talking, she would interrupt me and move onto the next question, and finally they end the interview telling me there's no positions left. What a waste of time.

I have been working for another theam park for over 3 years in 3 different areas of the park and then decided disneyland would be a fun career , I filled out there application then got a email to take there gallup test , it was a 45 minute test at that and at the end it said im not what they are looking for!?!?! Thanks disney land, I just want to remind the folks of all the people who have passed away at your theam park due to stupid employees who have beginers luck with your online personallity test.
