The sink was clogged but front desk attendant, Efren, notified maintenance and it was fixed right away. Clean room and facility. Our room or floor housekeeper, Gabriela gave us 2 extra pillows and towels. Delicious hot breakfast and good other selections. Lots of parking space.

I visit family in Santa Maria often and always stay at this hotel. It is newly remodeled. In all of my experiences there, the hotel has always been clean and the service has been great.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Arroya/San Luis Obispo on my way down to Big Sur, and it was absolutely disgusting. However, this hotel was a huge surprise! I’m so glad I chose this hotel on my way back to Salt Lake City flying from SBP Airport. The only complaint I have is that there are was no containers in the room to recycle. I know there’s a can put all the way down the hall near the elevator. People! This planet is sick and you better do your part in trying to help save it. I used the fitness room and ate the breakfast! All was good, but you might want to have peeled hard boiled eggs instead of ones that are cracked and peeled. It would make things easier and less messy.

Nice hotel right off the freeway. Really spacious rooms so a perfect option for a work trip or extended stay. Beds are comfy and showers had good pressure. Nice coffee maker in the room. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Would def recommend and come back to stay on future visits to Santa Maria

Ants in the room on the air/heater vent shroud. Fridge was off and hot(I’m diabetic). When I asked about this, the front desk person said “we do that to save energy and that I would have to call ahead for them to turn on fridge for it to be cold when I checked in”. WAIT WHAT! I have never had to call a hotel before I checked in to remind them to turn on the fridge. It took hours for the fridge to get cold. Also only allowed one key to room and digital key not working. They blamed on nation wide outage, but I had family members staying at other brand hotels in the area and that all got multiple keys. Also this is the first Hampton in that DOES NOT HAVE COOKIES, FLAVORED WATER AND COFFEE OUT. When I asked about those perks, the answer was “this location is independently owned and the owner chose not to have those things available for customers.

No frills and simple, but clean and complete amenities: indoor pool and gym had water station and towels so you don’t need to bring any from your room. There is a guest coin laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers, complete breakfast with hot items, and well stocked market in the lobby for snacks. Located right off the freeway, but no issues with noise. Room a little on the smaller side (we booked a 2 queen bed room) with no separate lounge chair/sofa area, so the only place to sit is the desk chair or on the beds. But overall, great value for the price.

This was a repeat visit for me on a business trip to Santa Maria. I had a wonderful experience at this property. My stay started off with a smile from Efrain the front desk clerk who checked me in. He was very friendly and efficient. The property is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job. Breakfast was ample and tasty. When my business trip takes me back to Santa Maria I will definitely return.

Stayed in room 219. Called 3 times about the people above being noisy. You can hear the toilet flush, you can hear the closets sliding open they had 20-35 kids running until 4AM not a well built hotel. Too noisy or just some extremely obese kids. (Probably both) good luck. + north Santa Maria is full of crack heads kinda of sad. Would have been quieter if I stayed in the river bed with the crack heads.
