This restaurant is mine and my husbands go to!! They have the most authentic Italian food. The service is amazing and the waiters are so kind!! Their cocktails are also amazing, I always order the espresso martini!!

So thankful we found this gem in downtown Campbell! We came here for a birthday lunch for my best friend and the service, the food and drinks, and the overall vibes were immaculate! David was the one who helped us and he was very generous with the cheese wheel, which we loved! His hospitality and friendliness really stood out to us and he even gave us a free dessert and sang happy birthday (in a beautiful Italian opera way!) to my friend! Will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend.

Went there for dinner on Sat. The restaurant was packed and there were 2 groups of people waiting outside the restaurant to be seated. All of us were seated at the same time inside the restaurant. The restaurant was very noisy and I found it close to impossible to have a conversation. The staff were very nice and friendly and there were a few patrons at different tables throughout the restaurant celebrating their birthdays. There was a waiter going to them and singing a perfect birthday song for them and also the other staff were bringing desserts with candles as well. It was very festive and fun even to watch. It made me believe that people are going to this restaurant just to celebrate their birthdays.
I settled on ordering the bone-in ribeye steak as I can’t decide between that, the branzino or the linguine with prawns and clams. I asked the server to make the choice for me and he suggested the ribeye with the linguine as the side vs the regular sides of potatoes and vegetables. I went with his suggestion. Unfortunately the bone-in ribeye tasted very odd. Almost no taste of beef and tasted very strange. It was cooked nicely at medium but tasted very weird. I was looking forward to it too since most restaurants only have ribeye and not bone-in ribeye. It was definitely disappointing in taste, and I ended up with stomach upset afterwards too. I didn’t have the heart to inform the server about the odd taste since he was so nice and accommodating. The linguine tasted better than the ribeye but nothing impressive though. Sad to say, I think the food at this restaurant was not good enough for me. The desserts looked good but at that point, I didn’t want to be more disappointed than I already was.

I recently dined at Locanda Sorrento and noticed an issue when reviewing my credit card statement: the total amount charged was higher than what was on my receipt. Based on the difference, it’s possible there was a typo on the tip amount, which led to the discrepancy. While I’m not sure whether this was an accidental error or something else, it was concerning enough for me to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Fortunately, they refunded me the difference promptly.

This experience has made me more cautious, and I recommend that others double-check their receipt and credit card statement after dining here.

Were very much rushed thru this dinner because they apparently overbooked on this Saturday night and were told they needed our table after one hour twenty minutes after we sat down when our online reservation stated that dinner was 2 hours. Most ridiculously was when I inquired about the time discrepancy, the staff told me " In America, it is 1.5 hours"! WHAT? What does America has to do with this? I told him that we are Americans and have never heard of a law where dining is limited to 1.5 hours. We stated that the reservation email stated 2 hours. Then he stated saying that you can stay if you like. Who wants to stay after that! Never going back again. The fried calamari and lemon cake were good. Pastas were average.

The interior is beautiful- bright colors and pictures - and the staff couldn't be kinder and more accommodating. The food is typical Italian fare, but so delicious and really different from the usual flavors. Even the pizza was special, and like nothing I've ever had. It can get really loud, just so you know. An extra plus; one of the waiters has a great voice, so ask him to sing.
