I can't say enough good things about this property and their staff. They went above and beyond in every possible way to assist me in a variety of ways. The beach access was wonderful and it's a great walkable beach. Food was delicious with very friendly and gracious staff. I made time for a massage in the spa and it was FABULOUS. Highly recommend if your schedule allows.

I was on a retreat with a total of six women and we each had a massage at the hibiscus spa. I have been visiting various spas this past year, many at five-star hotels. Tiffany gave me the best massage I have ever had! It was relaxing, and I had some onset of plantar fasciitis in my heels and it is completely gone. The other women raved about having Kristine (pardon if incorrect spelling ),and they all said their massages were wonderful as well. I will definitely take the 2 1/2 hour drive to come back here for a massage.

The most excellent aspect of our stay was your staff...from Michael at the front door, the wonderful ladies that attended to us at the restaurants and Alex and Wesley at the front desk...their attentiveness and warm responsive service was much appreciated. I didn't realize there would be a $25. daily service fee however...not a terrible thing but being November most of the reasons given for charging that fee were not seasonally related...so we guess that folks coming to see you next summer will enjoy our investment...by the way Room 333 (the room we were originally checked into) needs a significant cleaning. But our eventual room was in great shape!

My husband’s definition of vacation starts with a steaming cup of skim latte for breakfast. I like to begin my day with a bit friendly chitchat and advice on what to do from local experts. June, the Marriott’s morning barista, provided both. The latte is so perfect that my husband is considering extending our trip. June whipped up magic in a cup! Her suggestion to explore The Hammock Shops was tailor made for our preferences, giving us an opportunity to shop and dine local. June also encouraged me to try the Marriott’s Hibiscus Spa. Tiffany’s massage was a gift to myself. So, thank you June! Your latte began our vacation days with morning smiles and your ‘experience’ recommendations made the perfect itinerary! You’re a star!!

Our room was comfortable and clean with a lovely ocean view. Guest services friendly and accomodating in every way. Great food and service in the restaurant. Weather was amazing. Saw the most spectacular sunrise of my life. We will be back soon!

If it weren't for the amazing staff, this would be a one-star review. My family and I arrived expecting to enjoy all the amenities this resort is known for. We had even called ahead to confirm everything would be available. However, upon arrival, we found that the pool slides were closed for the season, and half of the pool deck was off-limits.

While the weather wasn’t perfect, we were still looking forward to enjoying the amenities, like the pools and the basketball court. Unfortunately, the slides were closed, and the basketball court was stacked with chairs, making it unusable. To add to the disappointment, our oceanfront room—which required an upgrade—was practically unusable during the day because of crew pressure-washing the deck all morning. This not only ruined the pool deck experience but also the relaxing nap I had planned on our balcony.

Overall, the stay was a total disappointment for me and my family, and we ended up checking out early. I have to give credit to the staff, who were friendly and accommodating, but it’s frustrating to spend money on an upgraded room and a resort stay where many key amenities were unavailable or interrupted.

*Disappointing Check-in Experience*
Upon arrival, I encountered a less-than-welcoming receptionist named Hakeem, who displayed a robotic demeanor and severe attitude. He looked down at us as if we were bothering him, appearing visibly irritated. His behavior was subpar, and if I were his manager, I'd consider providing customer service training. Hakeem has a very unpleasant attitude.

*Underwhelming Gym Facilities*
For a 4-star hotel, the gym was surprisingly lacking, with inadequate equipment for a full workout, comparable to a 2-star hotel.

*Room Quality*
The rooms were well-cleaned and spacious, with a great aesthetic. However, the mattresses were outdated and showed significant wear. Our mattress visibly sank on both sides, indicating that replacement is needed.

*Positive Aspects*
The hotel's pool was impressive. Additionally, the conference rooms appeared well-equipped and spacious, observed from a distance.

*Overall Rating*
3-star. The hotel fell short of expectations, with significant room for improvement in customer service, gym facilities, and mattress quality.

Beautiful resort!! The pools were lovely, spacious and plentiful. As were the hot tubs (3 or 4 of them). The grounds are well kept. Lots of amenities to enjoy (BBQs, firepits, lots of kid and adult activities, etc), and it's right off the beach. Wish we were still there. We've gone 5 times over the years and for whatever reason staff weren't on their game in Oct/24. Had a few poor interactions which we reported so hopefully staff will improve their hospitality moving forward. Enjoy!
