We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the moment we entered the beautifully appointed room to the gorgeous water view we were thrilled. They have thought of everything needed down to the magnifying mirror in the bathroom bathrobes and coffee station. The property is spotless and beautiful. We utilized the free shuttle into Charleston and Jimmy our driver was fabulous! He gave us so many tips on the area and was just an absolute pleasure to chat with on the way. The boat shuttle that also leaves from the property was a nice way to travel for a small charge. They even stopped for us to see the dolphins. Our main suggestion is to add a grab and go area for quick snacks and breakfast items for convenience as there are 2 restaurants on the property but nowhere to just grab a breakfast sandwich or cheese and crackers for the room. Overall a fantastic resort we will be back 🙂

Charleston Harbor Marina Resort is an absolutely beautiful destination with something for everyone. My wife, our dog, and I visited in November 2024 and were met with gorgeous weather that made our stay even more enjoyable. The resort boasts a stunning pool and hot tub, along with multiple fire pits scattered throughout the property, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. During our stay, they were setting up a charming Christmas-themed ice rink, which we had the chance to walk through, although it hadn’t opened yet. The resort’s location is also fantastic—right next to the USS Yorktown, where guided tours and even ghost tours are available (we regret not having time to try those). Plus, it’s just an 8-minute drive from downtown Charleston, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Overall, it’s a perfect blend of relaxation and accessibility.

The Beach Club is such a beautiful resort! Our room was on the third floor ,very spacious with a balcony and view of the pool and harbor. The bed was comfortable . Everything was well maintained and clean.
The smaller pool was heated and nice to relax in along with the hot tub. I enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night over looking the bay. Very close to Downtown Charleston .

This resort is in a beautiful setting, spacious rooms, wonderful amenities and a quick drive, water taxi or free shuttle to Charleston. Our room was big, airy, had a desk, separate tub and shower, loveseat and gorgeous view of the harbor. We enjoyed free live music several evenings and loved the pools, hot tub, pier for walking and spotting birds and dolphins. The staff is attentive, the resort is clean and in great shape. Loved the Keurig coffeemaker in the lobby that offered 60 combinations of beverages.

The customer service and luxury feel are not what they used to be.||||It was disappointing and the hotel staff simply is not as courteous and helpful as they have been in our previous stays.||||Water pressure was low in room 1406 and 1402 and there was no shower gel provided in 1406. When I requested some be brought up immediately after check-in it was never delivered so I went and bought my own.||||In years past when I have stayed here there always seemed to be a focus on customer service and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This time around the young lady at the desk seemed irritated when I asked questions and wasn’t very helpful or talkative.||||In years past there were gifts at check-in to include sample packages of cookies from Old Colony Bakery and a Palmetto flower on the bed. Those simple gifts just added to the luxury feel and it’s unfortunate that in my last 3 stays here the hotel chose to discontinue those perks.||||I used to consider the Beach Club to be a premium place to stay in the Charleston area and I will likely look elsewhere for my annual Charleston trips from here on out to ensure I receive the same courteous luxury service I had grown accustomed to.||||While this trip was considerably cheaper than my previous stays, I visited in an off peak season and my stay was a Monday-Thursday night so the lower price was to be expected.||||This stay I simply didn’t feel that the hotel had the same value for the price point that it used to which is disappointing.

Really enjoyed our stay. Terrific amenities and comfortable. We traveled there as a couple at 69 and 73 years old. No kids with us. Our room was pretty dated. It needs an update, especially in the bathroom and for tech connectivity. No USB ports in the room. We were told that one of the pools was heated, but none were. All pools were too chilly for us. We were there in early September. Proximity to downtown, the Yorktown, Fort Sumter, and other attractions was excellent. Room cleaning could have been better. Beds were super comfortable. Nice view from the room. All in all, very pleasant stay and lots of fun with our travel friends.

My husband and I had a very nice, relaxing stay. Our room was the Beach Club room and it was very spacious and nice. The pools appeared well maintained and clean. We enjoyed taking walks on the piers. The Reel Bar had decent food and good drinks. The Tiki Bar had decent food but the drinks were disappointing as they had very little alcohol and were weak for the price. Location was very convenient and they offer a shuttle service to downtown Charleston. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

From the moment we checked in everything was amazing. Colleen Gupta and Matt Early were amazing and left no stone unturned. We had welcome amenities in the room when we arrived which was such a nice gesture. We can't wait to come back for another visit!
