The Crazy Water Hotel - Mineral Wells, Texas

I attended a mini-conference here and extended my stay for the weekend.

I cannot say enough good things about the hotel. The front desk staff was amazing. Lulu (I think) was so sweet and helpful. The room was amazing. I could easily stay for a week and not feel cooped up.

The lobby was well appointed, and the coffee shop served the best coffee.

I really loved that all of the staff were friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy working at the Hotel.

We are already planning a return trip!

Also...be sure to visit the hotel restaurant. So good!

I always love my time there. The rooms are so spacious and clean but unfortunately I didn't have dish towels in my kitchen. It's a great thing I packed paper towels in my bag. The bed was very squeaky and I don't prefer that none of the doors have additional locks. The people who work at this hotel are all very courteous and kind! They are all accommodating! My stay was great!

We went to Mineral Wells for a weekend trip mainly because my son wanted to stay at this beautiful old hotel and it did not disappoint. The room was immaculate and spacious. The views were amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly. (Melody helped us) The building has been beautifully remodeled while keeping the old charm. The shops and museum downstairs were great! Security is good and the restaurants are wonderful. Shopping on the Main Street was fun! We went to the Crazy Water bottling shop and that was interesting. We will definitely be coming back!

We did not stay here it was a day trip. The shops are great and the people are very friendly. They have a men's shop that is great. When we walked by the receptionist desk out of curiosity of the rates. The receptionist replied "our cheapest room is" and my wife asked for a range and she replied again with the same response. Don't always judge a book by the cover. We will wait till 2026 to stay at the other hotel.

This was my first time staying at the crazy water hotel. I flew in from Anchorage, AK. After flying overnight and being awake for over 24 hrs., I arrived at the hotel 9 AM. and was told that I couldn’t check in until 4 P.M. The rest of my experience has been good. The rooms are night and the kitchen is very good for staying long term. Other than the poor customer service, the hotel itself is good.

Terrific property nuzzled in a cozy town. Perfect for any weekend getaway. We had the good fortune of having our company retreat here, and everything from the service, to the food, to the rooms, to the things to do, the toy store, the crazy water... 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to return!

Loved the feeling of this renovated hotel -- especially the lobby with the expansive marble floors, steps, columns -- a step back in time. We got a king suite, and it was very large with a kitchen, sitting area, large bathroom. We found the rooftop deck at about sundown and were blown away by the lovely view all around the area. The 7th floor rooftop is the highest point in town with the exception of the Baker Hotel a few blocks away. Sadly, we were there on a Sunday night, which made for a great value, but many of the restaurants and shops in town were closed, otherwise a great experience in Mineral Wells

THIS PLACE IS SO AWESOME!!!! Location? Amazing. Room? Amazing. Food and bar? Amazing. Staff? Amazing. Historical representation accuracy? AMAZING!!!!
