My husband and I recently had our dream fall wedding at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort. Tabitha was our event planner and we can confidently say we COULD NOT have pulled off such a spectacular event without her! She was always patient with us, promptly answered all of our questions, and always made us feel at ease. She is the perfect person to have in your corner! All our guests cannot stop complimenting what an amazing job all the hotel and event staff did on our wedding weekend. We also had our rehearsal dinner and farewell breakfast here and both were equally as wonderful. Everything was exactly how we pictured it but also so much more amazing than we could have ever imagined. Shawnee is the beautiful, unique, unforgettable wedding venue you've been looking for! We wanted a place that didn't quite look the same as everywhere else but still had charm and elegance. We will certainly be back to Shawnee for more fun in the near future! It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We had our wedding at Shawnee. The scenery was absolutely perfect and made for amazing photos. If I could rate service higher I would. The coordinator was truly amazing and put us at ease for everything. The staff throughout our wedding day were truly spectacular. I broke a key part to our wedding and they were able to fix it. The service staff during dinner was phenomenal and had everything boxed up and ready for us.

I loved my stay at the inn. I came for Thanksgiving 2024 and when we arrived the concierge was very helpful. She gave us our room keys and when we got to our room we saw a nice fireplace, a spacious bathroom, and a king size bed. The pool was very large and I spent a lot of time in it. Thanksgiving dinner was delicious with salad Turkey, ham, an a ton of desserts. The next day, the staff let me help decorate the Christmas tree which was very kind. That evening we went on the Christmas tram tour and we saw Santa at the halfway house and we also got hot chocolate and s’mores. I got to go into Santa’s sleigh and I got a video of a reindeer teaching Santa how to floss. I also ate at the gem and keystone, the brewery, and the river room. It was very delicious. Over all I think that the Shawnee inn is a great place to stay for work or vacation.

Stayed here last night for over $300. Love the looks of the hotel, the setting, and its history. However, the rooms are dated, small, and the furniture is old and worn out. Chairs had no support left, and the box springs in the bed had loud squeaky metal springs. I’d love to come back, but certainly won’t stay in the main inn if I do.

The property is beautiful and the views were gorgeous but I would have asked for a full refund for my room if I was not staying there for an event.

I will never stay here again and wish I hasn’t wasted the money.

We paid $300ish for one night and our room was a dump. There was peeling and chipping paint all over, the tub felt like it was going to fall through the floor and our room was covered in mold. The window in the room would not close. There were also multiple signs posted about locking up valuables.

The shower was covered in mildew, the walls covered in mold. Shower hooks covered in mold. The towels were hung INSIDE of the shower!

Did I mention there was MOLD?!

The event I attended was great and the staff was mostly friendly.

Skipped on the breakfast as another event guest told us the French toast was rock hard— this was deeply disappointing since the website makes it sound like the breakfast is spectacular.

Separate from our event we tried to order a drink at the restaurant bar, the bar tender was terrible and couldn’t be bothered to hand us the printed paper with drink specials listed. When someone did order a special he went on about how he hated it and just didn’t seem like he cared to be there.

You can tell at one point this resort was very nice but the upkeep wasn’t done properly.

Our stay in August 2024 was memorable and relaxing. The property is meticulously maintained. Hosta Garden was beautiful. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. ||Enjoyed dining on the Gem and Keystone deck. The bartender made great Moscow Mules. The chili was tasty and burgers were perfect.||The Brewery serves very good pizza. Fun atmosphere.||Breakfast in River Room was quite good. Lingered a while looking outside through large, clean windows. ||Two new things for us this trip.||The Jackie Gleason Museum contained many interesting artifacts. Of special interest were the items belonging to Mr. Southington. Many books of newspaper article to look through. The Curator was informative and available for questions.||The Renovated Bathroom is very well done, spotless and the space is efficient to use. Thank you, Shawnee Inn.

My husband and I took our 3.5 yo daughter to Shawnee this past weekend and had the most wonderful experience. We lucked out with great weather and kicked off our weekend with a river trip with stunning views and good company. The river really is a peaceful place. We followed it up with a visit to the brewery, which absolutely exceeded expectations (and we've been to A LOT of breweries). My daughter especially loved the live music. She danced for an hour! We sugared her up and stayed up late for the Stargazing tour, which she absolutely loved. She ended up falling asleep, but we enjoyed it all the same. The next morning, after a relaxing breakfast in the River Room, we drove about 15 minutes and hiked around Bushkill Falls. It was stunning, and our daughter had a blast! (get there early on the weekends). We bopped around Main Street, and then headed back for a historic tram tour + candle making at Shawnee Inn. It was so interesting to see different parts of the property and my daughter couldn't wait to give her candle to Nana. We indulged at the Gem & Keystone (get the rhubarb + berry crumble), and then enjoyed some family golf on the Par 3 course. Of course, we ended up back at the brewery (duh) and enjoyed more live music. We even ordered a pizza (even though we already ate because it's just that good). We met so many fun people - employees and guests - and could have stayed longer. We barely spent any time in our room, as it should be and we can't wait to return.

Staff is extremely nice but upper management makes poor decisions. $250 a night for such a terrible flip job of the rooms. Breakfast not included, but it's $20 and terribly rated. The path from the Delaware rooms lead you directly to the loading dock with no intended path to go around. Buildings are a long way from their glory days and need a lot of TLC. Bring your own pillows too.
