The evening was exciting and the event was well organized! It was a night we will talk about for along time. The staff on the Hayride was so much fun. We’ll definitely come back and tell our friends! Happy Holidays to all…

Was staying here for a wedding weekend. We stayed in one of the lodges which was very nice. I enjoyed the room having it's own fireplace and all the amenities were fine. We also had access to a common room with another fireplace which was nice. We never had our rooms serviced while we were there for two days. Also, understandably, since my cabin was in a wooded area there were some stink bugs in the room. I was able to clear them out, just be aware, if you have a problem with bugs, a cabin in the woods may not be for you. Food inside the hotel was excellent and the drinks were well balanced. I enjoyed my experience.

This was the perfect place to stay with a group of friends for a mini reunion. The more than spacious gathering area made it easy for our group to gather together and visit and not bother others. Lovely architecture…wonderful to just look around. The grounds are beautiful. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was excellent and very helpful and understanding. Our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Helene. The staff was very accommodating and did not penalize us for an early departure. Our group is already planning to gather here again next year…hopefully minus a hurricane!

Some good things, some disappointment. I really wanted to like this place more. It was not bad, but did not meet expectations based on advertising. ||We stayed in one of the cottages in a king room. The room was spacious. The bed was acceptable comfortable. There was a wood burning fireplace that was unusable as it needed repairs. There were other cottage rooms available so not sure why they put us there.|The room was clean. The bathroom door creaked loudly when moved. The toilets are incredibly noisy when flushed. The HVAC unit is one of the through the wall models. Very noisy. A sconce light in the bathroom was clearly coming off the wall. The bathroom fan and heat lamp were out of order. There is no vending machines to get light snacks after 6 PM when the pro shop closes. There was a machine to get cans of soda. But the only food available was in the restaurant and once that closes you are out of luck. We arrived about 8PM. I ended up having to drive a few miles back into town to find something to have in peaceful. The accommodations and amenities are starting to look a little dated so it is probably time to invest in remodeling the rooms. The spa is actually across the road from the resort. Would be a long walk and have to cross a busy 4 lane highway.||We had a nice breakfast buffet with an omlette station. That was good. Though we did not have opportunities to use them there is a pool and a decent looking workout room. It was very quiet and peaceful. We did not play golf or do any horseback riding.||The staff was very friendly and accommodating. No issues there. ||While we did get an unexpectedly good price for the night (we had no reservation and got about 40% off the price shown online) I am not sure I would want to pay in season rates for the room we had.

I only gave this hotel 2 stars because they call themselves a resort. We are not angry about the fee, because we had to stay there for a wedding no matter what. Just an honest review to help others deciding to stay. You are paying a premium price for a resort, even a resort fee. It is nice, but NOT a resort. There is very little, except the price, that screams resort. While the scenery is beautiful, the accommodations are not. The rooms are old and that is shown in the bathroom fixtures and tubs. The carpets are stained and the furniture very worn. The finish has rubbed off many of the pieces. The sheets are like sandpaper. The pillow sizes and styles were mismatched, which led us to believe that they have no sets. We were there for a wedding and the Sunset Pavilion was a glorified park shelter. The bathrooms were gross. The scenery, as stated, was beautiful and the surrounding mountains beautiful, but just not worth the money. If they charged the price of a hotel room, you may be able to overlook some of the worn items, but not the dirtiness.

I had the pleasure of helping photograph Kate and Miles’s wedding at Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa, and it was such a great day from start to finish. They chose the Sunset Terrace for their ceremony, which lives up to its name—sweeping mountain views, and as the sun went down, the entire space was bathed in this gorgeous, warm light that made everything feel magical.

For their reception, they moved to the Sunset Pavilion, an open-air space that keeps the party going while still being right in the heart of those incredible natural surroundings. It was the perfect spot for an intimate but lively celebration, with plenty of space for dancing and mingling. The staff went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly and really made Kate and Miles feel taken care of. If you’re dreaming of a mountain wedding with a relaxed, open-air vibe and unforgettable views, this venue is a gem.

Overall, I had a great stay at Brasstown Valley Resort. I was there for a work conference. Conference meeting areas were great. Catered meals were hit or miss. Breakfast was out of the park. Other meals were good but not fantastic. Rooms/beds were comfortable and well maintained. A little more attention to detail on the little things would go a long way...vent in bathroom covered in dust, top of headboard covered in dust and spider webs all in the curtains and blinds, but otherwise very clean. Public spaces - fireplaces, pavilions, sitting areas, pool were all very nice. Will definitely return.

If I could leave zero stars for this resort, I most certainly would. The Lodge and Housekeeping staff are amazing however the remaining staff are HORRIBLE. I would not recommend staying at this resort if you value peace and quiet and rest. Highly dissatisfied. Also, this was the second time that I stayed at this resort and ran out of hot water for my morning shower. Unacceptable for the price that was paid to stay there.
