C'è solo una parola per definire North beach Plantation: MERAVIGLIOSO, un posto dove potremmo trasferirci a vivere. L'appartamento di lusso e super accessoriato, non mi è mancato assolutamente nulla anzi.... L'edificio spettacolare così come le numerose piscine. Che meraviglia l'aperitivo sul balcone affacciato sull'Oceano...... sono passati 2 anni ma tutta la famiglia è stata strabene (come dicono i miei ragazzi). Se vi capita di passare da Mythle Beach non potete soggiornare almeno una notte (noi siamo stati 3 settimane), soprattutto se avete un marito 'golf addicted' che non si stancherà di visitare i 100 campi da golf presenti in zona.

We have been to North Beach several times over the last couple of years staying in the towers. We loved it so much after our first visit that's the only hotel we stay at during our trips. Staff is very pleasant. We love the layout of the 4 and 5 bedroom so we can stay together as a family. Love the fact every room has its own bathroom and a fully functional kitchen with all the cooking utensils. Our last visit wasn't as pleasant. The rooms need to be cleaned better. We had to call housekeeping to change some dirty linens and sweep and mop our floors. They were prompt in coming after we called. As the housekeeping sweep, we could see the dust flying through the air so thus showed it had not been sweep. We went with several other families who has also booked other rooms. The furniture in the other rooms needed to be replaced badly , leather peeling of sofas. This is a really nice hotel but need to upgrade furniture and take time to really clean the rooms to stay as one of the top resort hotel in Myrtle Beach . We may stay again in the towers but if we have the same problem with cleanliness and outdated furniture we will try one of the houses but prefer to be on the beach.

We have been vacationing here for over 10 years staying in 5 bedroom Charleston rooms for one week stays and several long weekends as we love close. This Christmas we took our kids for a long weekend in a Georgetown suit in the towers. Walking in for our check in the house stunk like gas, as we walked inside the gas stove was left on from the cleaners. Than all the bed sheets were like sleeping on newspaper, sound and feel. The night we checked in we get a call that because we have stayed there for 20 years. We are invited to a inclusive 1 hour thank you meeting in the morning where we will receive thank you gifts from the resort for our 10 years. Mind you its our family Christmas weekend trip. I expressed i did not like leaving on my family trip to sit at a one hour meeting for thank you gifts. They ensured me we would receive $200 off that stay, $100 dinner voucher and a one week stay as a thank you. Clearly I thought I should consider going. Once I arrived in the morning I was seated and told for $9000 I could purchase a membership to some sister travel company and get discounts on vacations. Literally! Give a random company $9000 for a "membership " concrete interruption of my family Xmas vacation and they lied to my family. After 5 minutes I told them how disgusted I was and I was leav6. My family and I left Saturday night instead of Sunday because of the awful beds, smell and lies to get us to buy some membership for $9000.

I will never stay at this hotel again. Poor customer service. It felt more so motivated by me being a black woman than the hotel not having decent service. Shuttle service takes forever but is required for those staying in the villas seeking to use the pools or access the beach. Guest services attendant was very rude. The cable box in the main bedroom did not work. I had to argue to get blankets delivered. The patio furniture was dirty. There were no complimentary items in the villa such as coffee or water. You have to make your own ice. The list goes on. For the value, it was not worth it. I will never stay here again.

We had a beautiful view on the PH floor. The rooms were dark and dated and housekeeping was severely lacking. It would be nice to have fresh linens, clean bathrooms and updated amenities in the bathroom.
An adult only pool was filled with kids and the fitness center was filthy….the attendant watched movies on his phone with headphones on when he could have been cleaning dirt and sweat on the machines. I asked him a question about where to find something and he didn’t take off his earphones and barely looked up from his phone. I have worked in the fitness industry for 29 years and I hope that there isn’t a cardiac arrest or other injury that needs immediate attention. One day we were there and nobody was on staff. This is a “higher end” resort and I feel this lack of cleanliness and attention is simply unacceptable. Supplying small towels and bottled water would be appreciated.
Our keys stopped working 2 days into our stay and we had to find security to let us into our room….our key from the 3rd floor garage to get into the building never worked.
I was also contacted 2-3 times about coming to a 5 hour presentation- not a timeshare only to realize that it’s to purchase a place. I am on vacation not house hunting and asked to stop bothering me.
As I said our view was amazing, the pools and spas with access to the beach was fantastic. Attention to detail especially at these prices needs to be looked at and addressed.

The resort is amazing and the units are luxurious. The only problem we had was an excessive amount of pet hair/dirt/grit especially in the living room area. The floors, furniture and under the furniture didn't appear to have been cleaned in a good while. Parking can also be a problem if you have an oversized SUV or larger vehicle. It can be difficult to get into and out of your vehicle once it has been parked.

5 bedroom, spacious, great location, awesome view. Cleanliness needs improvement. Sharing pictures would be gross so I won't do that publicly. I've shared with the facility. Owners need to invest in refurbishment. This is a great facility, just needs to be upgraded/refurbished. Invest in making the customer's experience memorable for the right reasons.

After staying here multiple times and being pleased this trip was different. We were disappointed with our room. We were in 812 Jasmine tower it was in need of much repair. The sofa is worn. The mattresses were awful. The dining room table was really rough looking. The icemaker was broken. There was drilling most of the day. The noise was awful. We will not stay here again. For the price you expect better.
