Bellissimo resort proprio di fronte all'oceano. Appartamento ben arredato, in ordine, cucina completa con lavasciuga e lavapiatti, giardino ben curato, palestra, sauna, bbq, diverse piscine, parcheggio, Wi-Fi, quotidiano gratuito...||Personale gentilissimo e cordiale.

We loved the dolphin pool with lazy river, my kids (ages 6 and 11) went around and around for hours. It’s tiny but the water is shallow and moving at a good pace so super fun and safe for kids. Not really a relaxing lazy river for adults though so be aware. ||The ocean is a very short walk and there are multiple entrance points. We spent more time by the ocean than I expected. Fun to visit at various points in the tide cycle. ||We appreciated the activities and did poolside bingo twice (they have lots of winners so my kids were thrilled and won both days) and my kids made soaps. There were lots more activities we were interested in but had other things planned. ||Parking is free which is nice with a rental car. Rooms are a bit dated but were clean which is what is most important to us! The setup can’t be beat for families- 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms with a large kitchen/living space.

We recently stayed at the Marriott Grande Ocean Hilton Head and had a memorable family vacation. We chose this resort for its spacious 2-bedroom villas, which are ideal for families or multi-generational groups needing extra room. The accommodations offered plenty of space, which was perfect for traveling with our family and my parents.||One thing to note is that while we were promised an ocean view room when booking, the reality didn’t quite match up. Rooms on the first and second levels tend to have obstructed views, often blocked by trees or other structures. Our room, unfortunately, was on the first level and had its view further compromised by the pool bar (picture of view included). This was a bit disappointing at first, but the experience improved significantly from there.||The villa we stayed in was ideally situated close to the pool area, which was a huge plus, especially with a one-year-old in tow. The splash pad and zero-entry pool were fantastic for our little one. The resort grounds themselves are beautifully maintained, adding to the overall appeal of the stay.||A minor downside is that the property functions more like a condo than a traditional hotel or resort. There are no on-site restaurants besides the pool bar, which has limited hours. However, this wasn’t a major issue for us as we had stocked up the kitchen with groceries and enjoyed the convenience of preparing our own breakfasts and having snacks.||Despite the property being fully booked during our stay, it never felt overcrowded. The ample space and well-designed layout of the resort contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. And the close location to the beach cannot be beat!||Overall, we had an amazing stay and are already looking forward to returning next year. For families, this place truly stands out as a great choice on Hilton Head. The spacious villas and beautiful grounds make it an excellent spot for a memorable family vacation.

Great staff and services. The 3 bar staff need to be friendly and smile. They don't seem to be happy with their jobs. The young woman who delivered our food orders to the bar was exceptionally friendly and had a beautiful smile. Keep up the good work. The water aerobics and yoga instructor was off the charts wonderful. She had great instruction, was informative and was truly into her job. Thanks Michelle!!! I can't say enough about her.

The grounds, pool, setting and hot tubs were all awesome! I thank Mallory for her room recommendation near the Dolphin pool in the Starfish building. We loved it there! Thanks again Mallory for your honesty which is so rare these days. Customer service is honesty in my opinion and you fit the mold.

Thanks to the rest of the staff for your assistance to make our stay great. I can't remember all your names but I we appreciate your hard work! Thank you!

Just lovely. Even the far corners of the resort here are pretty and all are close to the beach. The staff from the gentlemen and ladies who clean the pool daily (yes, we do see how hard they work), to cleaning the paths, the rooms, the restaurant staff, hospitality and the management who send daily notifications to do our part to protect the rare nesting loggerhead turtles and advised of of hurricane Milton's path going elsewhere...thank you one and all for an absolutely lovely experience. The property may speak for itself, but the staff here makes it all the better.

This hotels sits right on the beach and if you are lucky enough as we were, you can hear the sea off of your balcony. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and the TVs have access to Netflix if you need something to entertain the kids. We hired bikes and cycled to harbour town, it’s about a 30 min ride and not too strenuous. Cycling around the area is pretty safe as you have your own cycle path so you don’t share the roads with cars. My only gripe about the hotel is the bar shuts at 7pm and the gardeners start leaf blowing at 7am which can be enjoying if you aren’t an early riser.

We just got back from 10 days at the Grand Ocean in Hilton Head. We had beautiful weather. Overall, the property is beautiful and the rooms were nicely appointed. The staff was also kind and couteous. The only issue we noticed was that the property was in need of some minor maintenance. For example, the railings on the balcony need to be painted as the paint was peeling off and the hot tubs were not fully working. We drove down from NJ. It took us two days, which is no big deal as we are retired. For us, I’m not sure it’s worth the extra distance and points compared to Myrtle Beach, another beautiful property with awesome restaurants near by. The ocean at Hilton Head is a bit nicer as it is a bit calmer than Myrtle Beach. However, coming from NJ and MD beaches, where you get violently slapped when going into the ocean, that does not seem to be the case on either of these two properties. I think there is more for kids to to at Myrtle beach with the entertainment areas, as Hilton Head is more geared to adults with golf and shopping. ||Overall, I would give the property 8 out of 10. So far, from all the resorts we visited over the last few years, Marco Island and Palm beach are our favorites.

The grounds, view, and location are pretty amazing. But, the room we received was stale and smelly. One bathroom had 4 inches of black mold around the ring of the shower, light fixtures missing caps and built up dust colonies inside and the master room smelled of mildew which I believe came from the nasty carpet and bathroom ceiling that had black spots.||When we approached the manager he stated he had zero inventory to move on a holiday week. We understood that and his only offer was to send housekeeping to tackle the issues that seemed beyond what housekeeping could rectify with a cleaning, except maybe the shower with loads of bleach. ||Perhaps we got a lemon room.Perhaps not. I added photos but unfortunately cannot record the stale smell. ||Towels are on their last leg- dingy, thin, and almost can’t do their job. Need replacing. Pool towels okay.||Workers up very early talking loudly in the courtyards and blowing leaves. It became my 7:30 alarm clock.||Manager did not care at all to help us and kinda robotic. The other staff were nice. If I were him, I’d offer some kind of incentive to make up for the gross room. ||The lovely beach saved the trip. And of course great company. We made the most of what we were dealt. I wouldn’t go back. Sad, because this is a jewel Marriott location. I hope GM/Director takes a look at whose running this place on the daily and checking units.
