They anticipated my every need. The ultra comfortable bed, thoughtful lighting and plentiful electrical outlets were nice. The mini refrigerator, electric kettle and Illy coffee maker were spectacular. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff is friendly and the accommodations are top notch. Most important of all was that the fluffy bathrobes and slippers actually are a size that fits most and allowed me to lounge about with complete modesty and comfort. The towels were extra-large and fluffy as well. I cannot wait to return for a purely leisure visit.

When going on a business trip and you're in the San Diego area. This might be your new home away from home. They make you feel as if you're part of the family. From the food to the customer service all the way to the folks who prepare your room for you. I would say this was a great conference and it was a great environment everyone was very hospitable as well. The gentleman who was preparing my room for me Mr Diego in the lobby. Hopefully you get a chance to meet him and also the good folks at the registration desk and the banquets as well. Top shelf service!
I'm totally looking forward to coming back on my own, for leisure time. Thanks Hyatt for making this trip very memorable. I also spent a lot of time in the gym, it had everything that I needed.

Our recent stay at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad for a work conference was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, we were met with nothing but attentive, kind, and professional service.

The hotel itself is a masterpiece of luxury and beauty. Every detail is meticulously maintained, creating an atmosphere that is both welcoming and indulgent. Our room was incredibly spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort.

A special shoutout to the staff members who truly elevated our experience: Ron at the Valet, who greeted us with warmth and set the tone for our stay; Alexa at check-in, whose friendly professionalism made us feel immediately at home; Cameron, who ensured our luggage was delivered seamlessly; and Greg at the front desk, who went above and beyond during our checkout process. Every staff member we encountered displayed kindness and outstanding hospitality.

Overall, the Park Hyatt Aviara ranks among the best hotels we've ever stayed at. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and cannot wait for the opportunity to return. Highly recommend!

I had visited Hyatt Aviara twice before and just returned for one night after 8 years. What wonderful, happy memories! Ms. Rain at the front desk provided exceptional service, even walking out from behind the reception to show us where the elevator was in case I forgot. I appreciate her high level of service, and all the staff were so friendly and polite.

The hotel looks elegant with its new renovations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Both the adult and family swimming pools are outstanding, and the golf course is stunning. I have traveled the world, but this five-star hotel truly deserves each of its stars and has become my favorite, holding a special place in my heart after.

Nice hotel, nice service, nice rooms but busy. We went during Labor Day Weekend and wow! Was this busy! We couldn’t get a seat at the pool and people were holding seats by leaving shoes and bottles on the chairs that they wanted. The adult pool was better busy still full. The bar/lunch area was packed. There were only 5 tables to eat at. Again, people holding tables. We are at the bar, making a space for ourselves. We went back to our room and read on the deck. For the price we paid, you’d think this place would put out more chairs or do something about the holding chairs over an hour rule. Hawaii does it. Overall, good hotel and hold up to the rating. We just came at a bad time of the year. 🙁

Please do not expect a Park Hyatt experience if you've visited other outlets, as it is more like a motel experience. ||||Rooms have an overwhelming smell of chemical cleaner. Requested an air purifier from Guest Services only to receive a humidifier. Waited over 2 hours to get the purifier and it never came. Staff came by and confirmed room odor and switched to another which also smelled like chemicals (maybe to cover up the dog or marijuana odors since both were freely seen and felt all over the property?) By now, it was dark outside, and our entire afternoon was wasted waiting in the hotel room to rectify this issue. Manager (female, brunette, with a name started with "J") that came up to deal with it seemed annoyed, no apology or expression of concern. Just offered a room change. Couldn't even be bothered to bring up the new room key -sent someone else. Common courtesy says if you say you will do something, you do it and not lie to the guest's face and get someone else to do it, especially when you're trying to turn their experience around. ||||Room had a dried up contact lens next to the bed on the floor. A Mini-fridge was available in the room but completely empty. Really?||||Woken up by staff in the hallway with their jiggly keys and loud chatting at 8am. So much for a relaxing lie-in. ||||Express check out with only fee being $65 for overnight parking - astronomical esp since the service was sub-par with the exception of Mr. Zoltan who provided great conversation and service: A+ for him. Unfortunately the rest of his colleagues couldn't be bothered. Stopped by front desk with tall blonde man and shorter female associate having a chat - gave them my keys and stated I did express checkout - their reaction? No eye contact, no "thank you for your visit," nothing. Just hands out to take the keys. That right there tells you everything you need to know.||||I provided feedback multiple times during our first day - by email with details, in person to the manager - in the hopes that they could acknowledge the service issues, apologize and at least try to improve our stay and we wouldn't leave with a negative experience and have to leave this review. This was to avoid any generic management response saying something to the effect of, "We are so sorry, this is not how we do things, we will look into it, please come back so we can show you who we really are, etc. etc. etc." But alas, here I am on Trip Advisor with my negative review and will wait to see the usual response from the Management.||||One last thing - if you're coming here to celebrate a special occasion in the hopes the resort will recognize the guest(s) and maybe do something special to celebrate, don't. I informed them via email that the stay was specifically to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and not one person acknowledged it. No note or treat in the room for her. Only after my email to the staff did the bored manager come up and mutter happy birthday to her while walking in the hallway.
